Membership Types and Eligibility
- General Membership ($200/year): Anyone who is dedicated to yoga and meditation in personal life and dedicated to involve in Jeevan Vigyan for respecting and promoting the vision, mission and objectives of Jeevan Vigyan can become the general member of Jeevan Vigyan USA by paying $200.00 (Two Hundred US dollars) with filling up the designated membership form online or in person, prepared by Jeevan Vigyan USA. General membership should be renewed every year by paying the amount mentioned in this sub-article. Such member will not be eligible to become the candidate for the Executive Committee or Council of Patron.
- Life Membership ($500 one-time): Anyone committed to involve in Jeevan Vigyan for extending vision, mission and objectives of the organization, can become a life member. A life member shall make an onetime payment of US $1000.00 as life membership. If the yearly paid membership reached the amount of $1000.00 paying continuously every year within 5 years, such general membership will be converted as life
- membership. A life member will be eligible to become a member of the Executive Committee.
- Trustee Membership ($1,000 minimum): Anyone dedicated to spiritual practice personally and committed to involve for extending the vision, mission and objectives of Jeevan Vigyan can become a trustee member. Such person gets the trustee membership after he/she makes the full payment of US $2,000. This amount can be split in 2 continuous partial payments within two years. A life member as per the sub-article 7.2 above, can also upgrade to the trustee membership by paying additional $1000.00.
- Platinum Membership ($5,000 minimum): Anyone dedicated to spiritual practice personally and committed to involve for extending the vision, mission and objectives of Jeevan Vigyan can become a Platinum Member. Such person gets the platinum membership after he/she makes the full payment of US $5,000.00. A trustee member can become platinum member after paying additional $3000.00 in two additional payment within 3 years.A Platinum Member is eligible to become a candidate Executive Committee. A platinum member must be a teacher/instructor of Jeevan Vigyan to be iligible candidate for any post of the Executive Committee at least one month prior to the election date and permanently reside in the USA or Canada. Only the US residents shall be eligible to file the nomination for the post of treasurer.
- Patron Membership ($10,000): Anyone who is dedicated to spiritual practice personally and committed to involve for extending the vision, mission and objectives of Jeevan Vigyan, can become a Patron Member of the organization. Patron Member makes the full payment of minimum US $10,000.00. A Patron member will be eligible to become the candidate in Executive Committee or Council of Patrons (CoP). A platinum member can become a patron member after paying additional $5000.00 in two instalment within 5 years. A patron member must complete the instructors training of Jeevan Vigyan at least one month prior to the election date and permanently reside in the USA or Canada be an eligible candidate for any post in the Executive Committee, of CoP. Only the US residents shall be eligible to file the nomination for the post of treasurer.
Responsibilities and Privileges: All members must participate in Jeevan Vigyan’s activities and promote its mission. Higher membership levels include privileges like voting rights, candidacy eligibility, and policy-making involvement.
